“What happens when stupid people think they know their rights…”

We’ve all seen the videos out there of well-informed citizens recording their encounters with law enforcement. When a person actually knows their rights and the duties of police officers, the result can be informative for everyone involved.

But here’s a case where if you don’t know what you’re talking about, you should probably just keep your mouth shut.
The young woman filming this video thinks she’s being very clever with a police officer. But what unfolds just makes her look like an idiot who thinks she can get away with breaking the law.
This is painful to watch. This video is one of the top posts on Reddit right now…

This woman ignorant child feels unsafe because the police officer is wearing his glasses, or something.
It appears that all the police officer wants to do is make sure this woman was okay. She was being a brat for no apparent reason. Police Officers have to put up with so much garbage while they are trying to protect us.
The woman’s attitude might be the worst thing about this viral clip. She’s rude, condescending, and obnoxious beyond belief. She repeatedly tells the officer to remove his sunglasses because she “doesn’t feel safe.” She refuses to answer his simple questions because she doesn’t talk to cops who wear sunglasses (what?!).
But the cop soon puts a stop to her obnoxiousness by informing her that she’s parked in a fire lane. You have to actually hear her ridiculous response to believe it.
I’m absolutely floored sometimes by the idiots out there.

The officer kept his cool throughout the entire exchange. I don’t envy anyone who has to deal with idiots like this!

Watch the short video below (less than two minutes) and let us know what you think!

  1. A right is a moral principle defining and sanctioning a man's range of activity in a social environment, and this right principle is that a man must never initiate the use of force in human interactions.

It would benefit society if people actually know what rights are instead of just talking about them. Perhaps this is too much to expect from Americans, most of whom can quote 'The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag' but have NO CLUE what a right is.

  2. How beautifully put! Thank you for your intelligent comment. I most enjoyed this definition of a 'right'.

would have hauled her in for a psychiatric evaluation – for the publics
    safety.

  4. What an obnoxious b---- that chick was. 'I don't feel safe talking to officers with sun glasses.' Waah, cry me a river. I'd have detained and the written to the obnoxious brat a ticket for parking in a fire lane. This cop showed remarkable restraint.

  6. I wasn't surprised that the cop didn't bother ticketing her. He obviously couldn't get out of there fast enough. He could just feeeeelllllll his intelligence being sucked into the black hole of her stupidity.

Normally, I'm not much of a backer of cops, but this guy gets my kudos for his handling of the situation.

  7. Cop 10 out of 10 - Silly smartarse girl 1 out of 10.
Pulling that routine on the wrong cop would get her a bashing with charges against her
