There are 1500 newspapers, 1100 magazines, 9000 radios stations, 1500 TV stations, 2400 publishers and all of them are operated by only 6 corporations.
Now here is where the scary part comes into play. If you don’t believe that the major news agencies are rigged to help defend and cover up the Obama administration, this should help you crawl out from the rock you’ve been living under.
- ABC News executive producer Ian Cameron is married to Susan Rice, National Security Adviser.
– CBS President David Rhodes is the brother of Ben Rhodes, Obama’s Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications.
– ABC News correspondent Claire Shipman is married to former Whitehouse Press Secretary Jay Carney
– ABC News and Univision reporter Matthew Jaffe is married to Katie Hogan, Obama’s Deputy Press Secretary
– ABC President Ben Sherwood is the brother of Obama’s Special Adviser Elizabeth Sherwood
– CNN President Virginia Moseley is married to former Hillary Clinton’s Deputy Secretary Tom Nides.
So I ask you this. Is there any way Obama will ever be held responsible for his actions? With all the firepower he has protecting him, how can anyone get to him?
None of this should be surprising. Bias in the media is far less about how stories are presented to the public (although that plays a role, too), and much more about which stories are presented to the public.
Selecting which stories to cover and which ones to ignore represents the most blatant and pervasive form of media bias today. And those decisions are made from the top; reporters and news anchors rarely get to choose which stories to present. The top to bottom approach in mass media means that the leaders of these six corporations–GE, Newscorp, Disney, Viacom, Time Warner, and CBS–decide what Americans listen to and what they read on a daily basis. They also get to decide what we don’t see. So, who are these corporate leaders?
They’re all Modern Liberals with extensive ties to the Democratic Party and the current administration. (By the way, the same is true regarding our major colleges and universities.) And most of those ties are forged by marriage, as the above article from Young Conservatives makes clear.
