The Manhattan Bridge Has an Unexpected New Use (21 pics)

Although the Manhattan Bridge is an architectural feature in Brooklyn, it is serving a whole different purpose to what it is intended to.

Homeless people have created tiny living pods under the upper deck, which is below the traffic but above the subway and bike lanes. An Asian man was spotted climbing a chain-link fence to access the space which is only 10 x 1.5 feet big. Rent in the areas would cost anywhere from $2900 or more.
