Jose Eduardo Chaves Salas is 32 years old and runs Jose's Crocodile River Tour on the Tarcoles River in Costa Rica. He and his team are pretty fearless around these giant reptiles and regularly do something that most people would never ever dare to try....
The men lure the crocodiles, some as long as 17 foot, with raw chicken pieces and then leave the safety of the boat to feed the crocs by hand. Jose says that the reptiles are not nearly as dangerous or aggressive as people think. While this may be true, I think I will leave the feeding to them thanks!
