(KNOWN AS TROXLER'S FADING TEST)
Instructions:
Please stare at the red dot, while noticing the blue circle. Keep staring at the red dot, and eventually the blue circle will disappear.
Try this experiment to see if you can feel one of your eyes jiggle.
Stand outdoors looking at a distant horizon — at a beach looking out to sea is perfect location, but any open space will do. Close one of your eyes and gently place a couple of fingers over the shut eyelid. Scan the horizon as smoothly as you possibly can with your open eye. Although you think your eyes should be moving in one continuous smooth motion, you'll feel the covered eye jiggling back and forth as the open eye samples the visual information for the brain to process.
